Our Schools

The Morris Plains School District operates two schools which service 620 students. The Mountain Way School was built in 1958 and houses 202 students in Grades K-2. The Borough School was built in 1923 and houses 418 students in Grades 3-8. Morris Plains High School Students, Grades 9-12, are sent to Morristown High School in the Morris School District.

Children will not be dropped off at a bus stop if a parent or guardian is not there to meet the child. Children will be taken back to the appropriateschool and the parent will be notified. Thank you for your cooperation.

Bus routes for the 2012-2013 school year will be placed on the web site

in August. The routes will be posted under District Information - Transportation.

Route information will only be mailed to the parents of Kindergarten students and 9th grade students.

The Borough School Drama's Club production of Annie will be held on Friday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Borough School Auditorium.

Must register at theCommunity Center M-Th 9-4:00

All trips available on a First come, First served basis!

Must fill out a separate Registration /medical form for each trip that your child would like to attend!
